Build the right knowledge and skills to
become a true leader in the Retail field
We believe in facilitating talent rather than leading you by the
hand. Trough the entire programme many development opportunities
will come along. We offer training and education that consists of a
three-tier curriculum:
ING Corporate and Retail
On corporate level you’ll get to know ING
across all business lines: locally, regionally and globally.
Furthermore you learn everything you need about Retail. Besides
training, we focus strongly on networking events. Through annual
board lunches and graduation and alumni meetings for instance, you
are able to build your network and share your experiences with
fellow trainees.
Leadership
The leadership curriculum helps you grow as a
leader. It starts in the second phase of the programme and consists
of a plenary and personal part. The plenary part is aimed at your
entire year group. For instance it will be an annually two-day
leadership development conference to address common leadership
topics. With the personal programme each year you will undertake
specific learning challenges. Trough unique business assignments,
tailored to your specific projects and jobs, you will bring your
leadership skills to a higher level.
Job-specific
The job-specific programme provides on demand
job specific knowledge and skills. Furthermore, as long as there is
a proven benefit to your career, you get the opportunity to enrol
in an MBA or equivalent level leadership Masters Programme.
As part of the ING performance culture, your progress and
achievements are assessed every year and rewarded accordingly.
Besides, you will take part in the
supplementing
ING International Graduate Programme (IIGP).
This four-year programme supplements the Retail Banking Leadership
Programme. Through international cross-business learning events it
adds value to your career development and boosts your leadership
skills.
